The Transport Research Institute is a consultancy company offering a wide variety of services in the area of transport planning and management. These include Cost-Benefit Analyses, traffic modelling and forecasting, as well as design, development of software tools and others.

The Transport Research Institute is the official representative of Roadscanners (Finland) for Bulgaria, Macedonia and Albania. Roadscanners is a leading producer of hardware and software for road and railway condition surveys and non-destructive testing.

Software for transport modelling

TRI's traffic modelling software is built on a feature-rich, open-source graphics editor and tools that allow easy access to external drawings (like DXF files) and data. Models developed with VISUM can be imported to the software. The results can be exported to plain text, as well as in a number of graphics formats.

Document management system

Good document management is a key factor to the quality of work in any organisation. The document management system developed by TRI is web-based and allows access to company's documents from any point in the world. It does not require the installation of any software on the client side but only a web-browser. The system is fully compatible with Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox and others.
